    Activate Uganda organizes several Charity Events per year, either on behalf of companies wanting to support a designated charity or for the charities themselves. For the past 5 years, we have been organizing Kids’s of Africa- Run for Fun raising over 100 million Ugandan shillings to build a good dental clinic in Bwerenga, 24km from Kampala along Entebbe road.

    KIDS OF AFRICA

    Kids of Africa, is a Swiss-based charity operating in Uganda. Kids of Africa is a children’s home/village for 100 abandoned children in Uganda. The children are accommodated in 10 family homes, each under the care of a loving foster mother. Activate Uganda was contacted by Kids of Africa to organize their inaugural run in 2011 which was an immediate success with over 300 runners. Since then this fun run has continued to grow to up to over 900 participants in 2015, bringing more awareness of the work down by the association and bringing in more funds. This year, Kids of Africa will be Celebrating their 11th anniversary along with 6 years of “Run For Fun” and hope to expect over 1000 runners! For more information : Learn More
