Activate Uganda Team is excited to welcome you to the “Activate Uganda 100 Days of Running 2025” challenge to you.
“Activate Uganda 100 Days of Running 2025” is designed to encourage you to keep running/walking as part of your daily life and to keep your level of fitness in good shape.
The aim of the event is to challenge yourself to run a minimum of 3km ever day without missing a day for 100 consecutive days (Rain or Shine). If you are training for a specific event, what better way to keep you focused on your progress?!
There is no maximum distance or cumulative distance set for as a target for 100 days. The focus in only on achieving the minimum daily distance which is the requirement of 3km. You can mix walking with running as you feel comfortable. On recovery/rest days, you can walk the required distance and keep you 100 days streak going!
Basically, we are not really setting any rule except that you run/walk a minimum 3km each day and post your activity on what’s App group daily without fail.
The objective is to keep you more motivated sports wise (Activated) and is for your own personal achievement. All we require is your complete honesty when entering your run logs. It is up to you to make sure you can be proud of “earning” your medal with respect!
This Challenge is an event of its own but all distance covered within the 100 days will also count for participants registered in the 1000 km Challenge.
Note: The challenge is not limited to only people running in Uganda
A unique “Finisher” medal will be awarded at the end of the100 days of the challenge (achieved through running or walking as an exercise activity (No, strolling through the mall does not count, it must be for the purpose of training or an official running/walking event).
