The Great Escarpment Ultra Run

We are introducing a unique and prestigious Road Ultra Run race.

Activate Uganda is proudly organizing the most grueling, but amazing Ultra Road Running Race ever in Uganda.

The Great Escarpment Ultra Run will be the one of a tough road running event in the region for a lucky few Ultra Runners.

The race provides for a choice of a 42km, 50km or 50Miles run. This will be staged in Hoima on 26 July 2025.

The circular route will be crossing through forests and a few small villages. Most importantly though is that you experience a tranquil atmosphere with very limited traffic on the road. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to see the Albert and Albertine Rift escarpment during the race, but we encourage you to spare some time to visit this beautiful Ugandan tourist attraction.

Please note that we are limiting the entries to 200 participants only, so make sure you sign up before you lose out on this amazing experience.
